This weld-on bracket provides a mounting point to relocate the OEM donor ‘Vette coolant reservoir in the area above the LH fuel tank. The benefits to this are many, with the most significant being that it is much easier to bleed the air out of the cooling system which seems to be the leading cause of cooling system/overheating problems with GTMs. This puts the tank in a similar set-up as it is in the Corvette.

With the tank mounted in this location, the other change we make to the cooling system is to attach a coolant petcock to a short section of hose and attach that to the top RH port of the radiator where the petcock is used to bleed the air from the top of the radiator.
