These louvers are the same size and shape as our original S2000 Hood Louvers, but these are designed to surface mount to the top of the hood instead of attaching them to the bottom side of the hood. The biggest benefit here is that the perimeter of the louvered panel hides the cut edge of the hood, so even if you don’t get a perfectly smooth cut in the hood, it won’t be seen. The cut-out area for the louver opening is roughly the same size and shape as the openings in the hood bracing on the underside of the hood.
